Accreditation

The Tourism Study Program was officially established on July 29, 2008, based on Operational Decree No. 231/J14/KP/2009 issued on May 8, 2009.  In response to the dynamic nature of the tourism industry and market demand for more competitive human resources, a nomenclature change was implemented on June 11, 2020, as stipulated in Decree No. 574/M/2020. This change renamed the program to the Bachelor of Tourism Program, reflecting a broader scope of knowledge encompassing all aspects of tourism, not limited to destinations.  Since 2008 until now BoTP has received accreditation status A from BAN-PT which shows the quality of BoTP.
